I have to admit that I wasn't really impressed by wedge shoes when they first hit the runways, but one step at a time they won my heart. Brilliant Giuseppe Zanotti is definitely the one responsible for that; his innovative designs made him a king of wedge heels.
Wedges are definitely not everyone's 'cup of tea' although they can be extremely glamorous, stylish and versatile choice. Just like every type of shoes, there are pros and cons about them. They are easier to walk in than platform pumps, they add height and look great with almost any length dress or skirt, but on the other hand they can never be as elegant as stilettos.
Besides Zanotti, the most popular models are designed by YSL, Givenchy, Stuart Weitzman, Christian Louboutin, but you can also find amazing ones for less at ASOS, Forever 21, Killah, Guess etc.
